    Description

    These gorgeous Biwa Pearls have been part of my jewelry collection for many years. The necklace is 28" long. There is no clasp. These Biwa Pearls are lovely in color; the size varies as no two pearls are alike.  Biwa Pearls are irregular in shape and come from freshwater mussels found in Lake Biwa, Japan. Today, they are quite rare.  You usually don't see Biwa Pearls when you are out and about.  Consider this necklace for an important piece in your jewelry collection!!
